I think this misses the point, a little (maybe a lot)... but affordable 6 month data bundles will unlock a critical issue.
Kids in the Eastern Cape, where I live, get preposterous assignments which depend entirely on the internet.
But they don't have computers or internet access. The curriculum was designed for "search" research. And we're leaving an entire generation behind if we can't give them internet access. (I mean, we left them behind already.)

Problem we experiencing now, on 2 x Z140C devices, is that MS is attempting to force all Windows to upgrade to Win-11.
The fact that the OS is hard coded and cannot be upgraded seems to make no difference and it just keeps trying.
We have turned off all updates etc, but MS seems to have a back door in and just over-rides the settings.
Maybe an Android PC is the way to go for these types of devices.
